The taco rice was so delicious..

Q:

The limited-time taco rice was so delicious that I would love for it to become a regular menu item

A:

Thank you for your feedback on the menu.
As for the taco rice, it's made with ingredients that are only available for a limited time, so if we have any left over, we'd like to offer it again somewhere.
Taco rice is a regular summer event menu item, so we hope you'll look forward to it again next year.

Hokke is delicious..

Q:

I'm happy that there are more fish other than mackerel!
Atka mackerel is delicious!

A:

At the Central Dining Hall, we mainly serve grilled salted Atka mackerel in the hot case, and about once a month we also serve grilled salted mackerel. We also have a set meal corner on weekdays from 11am to 2pm where we offer a variety of fish dishes that change daily, so we hope you will enjoy them as well

The bean sprouts in the Bang Bang Chicken Tofu were more raw than usual..

Q:

On June 9th, the bean sprouts in the Bang Bang Chicken Tofu seemed to be rawer than usual. Could you please tell me the standard for cooking them? Also, if there was a problem only on that day, please take measures

A:

Regarding your comment that the bean sprouts in the Bang Bang Chicken Tofu were almost raw, we checked with the staff member in charge after receiving your feedback. The cause was that they had been steamed for a shorter time than the prescribed time. We have instructed
the staff member in charge and other related staff to ensure that steaming is done for the prescribed time. We
sincerely apologize for any unpleasant experience you had on June 9th. In the future, we intend to strive to improve our customer service and employee training so that all our members can enjoy their meals comfortably.

The Aosa Negitoro Rice Bowl is so delicious..

Q:

The Aosa Negitoro Donburi was so delicious that I ended up ordering it every day.
Normally, I go straight home after classes, but I stayed at the university until late at night just for the Aosa Negitoro Donburi, and even had dinner at the cafeteria.
The aroma of the sea from the Aosa gently binds together the grated yam, tuna, and shredded seaweed, creating a sense of unity and profound umami that sets it apart from a regular yam and negitoro donburi. It was shockingly delicious. I
'm sad that the campaign is ending. I hope it will be brought back.

A:

Thank you for your feedback on the Aosa Negitoro Donburi! We use Aosa harvested in Fukushima, which is only harvested seasonally. If there is stock in Fukushima, we will consider offering it! We are considering continuing to offer the Aosa menu, so we hope you will enjoy our other dishes as well

Calbee's Consommé Punch potato chips are not available..

Q:

When I went to the store today, they didn't have Calbee's Consommé Punch potato chips. They had Calbee's Usushio and Chip Star, but the absence of Consommé Punch is a significant missed opportunity.

According to these two survey results, Calbee products are the most popular in every flavor, and in the latter, Consommé Punch is the most popular.
to take this opportunity to suggest increasing sales of Calbee potato chips over Chip Star. If this is simply a stockout issue, please adjust your order quantity to prevent future shortages. We understand there may be various reasons for this, but we would appreciate your consideration.

A:

Thank you for your valuable feedback

We do carry Calbee's Consommé Punch at our store, but
it appears that it was out of stock when you visited.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

This product is only delivered once a month, so
it may be out of stock by the end of the month.

We will strive to avoid stock shortages in the future, so
we would appreciate your continued support.

Cheese Imo Mochi is not just for a limited time..

Q:

It was very delicious, but could you please add cheese potato mochi to the regular menu instead of just being a limited-time item?

A:

It will be difficult to add this to the regular menu immediately, but we will share the fact that there are many requests for it to become a regular item during the general menu discussion

Improving access to nutrition labels..

Q:

I'd like to see improved access to nutritional information. The nutritional information for each menu item is only posted at the entrance and pick-up area, and I can't find it online, so I have to take a photo of it. You can also view it in your usage history on the app, but it's difficult to read and a hassle. Could you please make the nutritional information for each menu item available on your website or Twitter?

A:

Nutritional information and allergen information, which can be viewed online, are currently available on the "Gakushoku.co-op" website. (A link is provided below.) This is a common site for university cooperatives, not just the University of Tokyo Co-op, so it does not include menus other than the University of Tokyo Co-op's original menu, but we hope you will make use of it.
Also, since this information was not sufficiently publicized, we have taken your feedback into consideration and will post posters introducing Gakushoku.co-op at the entrance of the cafeteria.

If you bring your own lunch..

Q:

If I don't buy anything at the cafeteria and just eat the lunch I brought with me, can I still use the cafeteria?

A:

In the dining hall, priority is generally given to those using the dining hall menu. In particular, during the busiest hours between 12 and 1pm, even those who have purchased a dining hall menu are asked to share the space, so we ask that those who only bring their own food or are not eating in refrain from using the space. If you would like, we would be grateful if you could purchase at least one dish in the dining hall. (The cheapest menu item is miso soup (priced at 44 yen)

Additionally, from mid-May, the hall on the second floor of the cafeteria will be open to the public from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on weekdays after the cafeteria closes. Please feel free to use this area for eating and drinking, studying, chatting, etc

Can base money also be used to pay for the central cafeteria?

Q:

Can I use base money (not just cafeteria money) to pay at the central cafeteria?

A:

You can also use "Base Money" in the cafeteria. However, if you use "School Money," you will receive points based on the amount you spend. (1 point is added to Base Money for every 200 yen spent.) We recommend paying with "School Money" to receive the points you earn

Cheese potato mochi is so delicious..

Q:

Cheese potato mochi is so delicious. It would be so sad if we could no longer enjoy the exquisite harmony of cheese, potato, and mochi. I would appreciate it if you could add it to the lineup rather than making it a limited-time item

A:

Thank you for enjoying our "Recommended Menu Fair" that began last week. These items are available for a limited time of two weeks and include menu items made with ingredients procured by our buyers, such as our "Cheese Potato Mochi." While it will be difficult to immediately add this to our regular lineup, we will share this request when we review the fair
