The refreshing pork soup is always delicious
Although I'm not originally from Aomori, I used to go there often before COVID-19. However, I haven't been there for the past two years. I'd like to at least experience the atmosphere, so could you please stock Nanbu Senbei rice crackers for a limited time?
Q:
Thank you for your continued patronage
Thank you for your kind words about the refreshing pork soup
Regarding your request for Nanbu Senbei, it is difficult for the cafeteria to procure it
I'm sorry
I'll ask the store if they can provide it
We look forward to seeing you again
I love the brown rice omelet rice on the second floor, and before COVID-19, I ate it all the time. I was so happy to see it back around the New Year holidays
I am currently a fourth-year student and will soon be graduating, so if possible, I would like to eat it again before I graduate. Could you please consider bringing it back within the school year? Thank you very much
A:
Thank you for posting this
Also, thank you for using our brown rice omelet rice, which was back for about a month and a half from the end of November to January 7th
During January, we will be temporarily closed to serve omelet rice for the Toro-ri Fair and to bring back brown rice katsudon
We will make arrangements so that it can be revived for a limited time sometime between February and March. (Probably March...)
Once the date has been decided, we will announce it on Twitter etc., so please check it out
Q:
There seems to be a significant discrepancy in the salt content listed on the menu and receipt for Akamon Ramen. Could you please confirm which is correct?
(Also, we would appreciate it if you could consider adding salt content information to the menu near the entrance.)
A:
Thank you for pointing that out
I have confirmed it
The salt content of Akamon Ramen is 3.8g, so the 6.8g displayed on the digital signage is incorrect. We will correct this immediately
Also, the nutritional value including salt content is displayed on the digital signage near the entrance
Request the manager
Please note that it may be technically difficult to display or it may take time for the changes to be reflected
We appreciate your understanding
We look forward to seeing you again
Q:
The boiled okra had nothing on it and wasn't salty. It wasn't boiled okra at all
A:
I am very sorry
Usually, we add soba soup to our "Okra Blanche" and serve it as a blanched dish
This time, during the process of adding the soba soup, the okra that was not added was served as is in the serving lane
We will share this matter with all our staff and strive to prevent it from recurring
If you have any questions, please use this contact form
Q:
A friend of mine was in trouble because she didn't have any sanitary products on hand. I've never seen them stocked in the purchasing department like in a regular convenience store (though maybe they do)
Although some people may be reluctant to make a big deal out of this, it would be preferable for female students at least to have it available on campus when they need it. I would like you to consider installing it in the store or restrooms
A:
These are sanitary products, and are available in the general merchandise section of the store
It is located at the bottom right of the shelf where paper cups and other items are stored. We apologize for the difficult to find location
There are also vending machines in the restrooms at Komaba Library, so please check them out as well
If you have any questions while using the store, please feel free to ask our staff. We will be happy to assist you
We have received similar feedback regarding sanitary products on several occasions, so we will consider reviewing their placement to ensure that they are properly provided to those who need them. We appreciate your continued support
We apologize for any inconvenience caused
We appreciate your continued use of the Co-op
Q:
They are currently calling for silent eating, but this is not being observed at all in the Komaba cafeteria. I would like to ask for people who are shouting or making noise in the cafeteria to be warned. It may be acceptable to keep your voice down and have an occasional conversation, but if people are making noise so loud that it becomes annoying, I think it will ruin all the infection prevention measures that have been put in place. I would like to ask for people to speak to them and warn them
A:
Thank you for your feedback. Currently, Komaba Cafeteria makes announcements to ask for your cooperation in eating in silence. We also regularly remind people to speak out loud, but we will be strengthening our patrols and calls to others so that everyone can use the cafeteria with peace of mind
Please come visit us again. We look forward to seeing you again
Q:
Are there any restaurants currently where you can bring your own lunch?
A:
Thank you for your inquiry
Currently, in the Hongo area, it is okay to bring your own lunch to the Central Cafeteria and the Faculty of Agriculture Cafeteria
Please use it as a place to eat, study or for community
We would be very happy if you would also use our miso soup (32 yen) in your lunch box
Q:
I am writing to ask if you have an application form etc. available as I would like to hire students from your school to work part-time as private tutors in mathematics for their university entrance exams
A:
Regarding your request for a tutor or introduction,
Unfortunately, our co-op does not carry this item
I'm sorry I couldn't be of any help
From what I know, the University of Tokyo's College of Arts and Sciences has a system for introducing private tutors
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has been temporarily suspended since April 2020
