It seems they are currently calling for silent eating..

Q:

They are currently calling for silent eating, but this is not being observed at all in the Komaba cafeteria. I would like to ask for people who are shouting or making noise in the cafeteria to be warned. It may be acceptable to keep your voice down and have an occasional conversation, but if people are making noise so loud that it becomes annoying, I think it will ruin all the infection prevention measures that have been put in place. I would like to ask for people to speak to them and warn them

A:

Thank you for your feedback. Currently, Komaba Cafeteria makes announcements to ask for your cooperation in eating in silence. We also regularly remind people to speak out loud, but we will be strengthening our patrols and calls to others so that everyone can use the cafeteria with peace of mind

Please come visit us again. We look forward to seeing you again

Are there any restaurants that currently allow you to bring your own lunch?

Q:

Are there any restaurants currently where you can bring your own lunch?

A:

Thank you for your inquiry

Currently, in the Hongo area, it is okay to bring your own lunch to the Central Cafeteria and the Faculty of Agriculture Cafeteria

Please use it as a place to eat, study or for community

We would be very happy if you would also use our miso soup (32 yen) in your lunch box

We would like to have students from your school work part-time..

Q:

I am writing to ask if you have an application form etc. available as I would like to hire students from your school to work part-time as private tutors in mathematics for their university entrance exams

A:

Regarding your request for a tutor or introduction,

Unfortunately, our co-op does not carry this item

I'm sorry I couldn't be of any help

From what I know, the University of Tokyo's College of Arts and Sciences has a system for introducing private tutors

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has been temporarily suspended since April 2020

Apply for a group TOEIC public test at the Co-op..

Q:

I would like the Co-op to handle group applications for the TOEIC public test. IP tests are not recognized as official scores, so I would like to see group applications for the public test. The price is rising every year, which is troubling me

A:

Currently, the University of Tokyo Co-op has suspended group applications for the TOEIC public test

The reason for this is that even with a group application, whether you can take the exam is determined by lottery, just like with an individual application, and although the exam fee is collected at the time of application, if you are not selected, you will need to come back to the store for a refund, which is an inconvenience to our customers. The exam fee remains the same at 7,810 yen even with a group application

So, can I apply as an individual?

Thank you for your understanding

I want to sell stickers..

Q:

I wish they would sell stickers. They are commonly sold at universities overseas. I want to put some on my suitcase

A:

Since last year, the use of marked products has decreased significantly due to restrictions on entry to the campus

Depending on the number of pieces produced at one time and the price, it may be difficult to sell them immediately

We would like to consider this positively

It's been a while since commercial whaling resumed..

Q

It has been some time since commercial whaling resumed, but there are still few opportunities to eat whale meat, so I would be happy if the restaurant could serve dishes using whale meat. Thank you

A:

The Co-op cafeteria does not currently sell whale meat

We are very sorry, but we are currently unable to develop menu items using whale meat

If there is an opportunity to handle your order in the future, we will consider it. We look forward to serving you again

Stop putting fried chicken on spicy miso ramen..

Q:

Please stop putting fried chicken on spicy miso ramen..

A:

Regarding the Fried Chicken Spicy Miso Ramen, we regret that we are unable to make any immediate changes this season, but we will pass on your feedback to the Co-op menu manager

Thank you for your valuable feedback

We look forward to your continued patronage of the Co-op Cafeteria

The new bakery is really good..

Q:

The newly opened bakery is very delicious, but when you eat in, they put the bread in a bag, so there are no plates, which is a bit disappointing. I wish they would serve it on a plate when you choose "dine in." Thank you

A:

I apologize for the late response

Thank you for your continued patronage

Thank you for your valuable feedback

We have shared the feedback we received from the Brioche Dore staff regarding the use of tableware when eating in

We will hold a meeting to consider specific measures, so we would appreciate your patience for a little while longer

When tableware is to be used, separate instructions will be provided at Brioche Dore stores

If you have any comments or concerns, please use the message card

We look forward to your continued support
