The Docomo signal is extremely poor in the central cafeteria and the second cafeteria..

Q:

The Docomo signal is extremely poor in the central and second cafeterias
, making it very difficult to display things like Co-op membership cards. (This causes delays at the registers, and it seems I'm not the only one experiencing this.)
I would like you to request Docomo to improve the signal strength.
Thank you very much.

A:

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the docomo signal strength in the central cafeteria. We previously consulted with docomo about a similar issue, but they responded that it would be difficult to install a new antenna directly within the facility. As an alternative, they lent us a wireless device called a "repeater" that relays radio waves, and we have installed it there. (We were told that one device can be lent per docomo subscriber's phone number.)
This device was installed about two years ago, and at that time, communication was possible mainly around the cash registers. However, there is a possibility of malfunction or deterioration of the device now, so we will check its installation status and operation. We will also check with docomo again to see if the same measures can be taken in the second purchasing department as in the central cafeteria.
