The US is deadly..

Q:

As I've said many times, the rice is fatally bad.
The other menu items also don't match the quality for the price. If they're going to operate as if they're on the side of students, they need to at least offer better value for money than Hotto Motto.

A:

Thank you for your feedback regarding rice and menus.
We understand that rising prices and the challenges of 2024 make things difficult, but we will continue to discuss with our staff how to improve quality and propose menus that our members can enjoy.

A bookstore at or near the hospital..

A:

Would it be possible to place a bookstore inside or near the hospital?
Alternatively, could a system be implemented that allows patients to search for books within the bookstore and purchase them on their way out?
This would be useful for patients to use while waiting.

The co-op bookstore near the hospital is located at the bus terminal, but alarms from the hospital don't reach it, making it quite difficult for a sick person to get there.
There are also ebooks and online purchase options for buying books.
However, as I noticed when I used to go there often when I was still able to move around, the books available at the University of Tokyo Co-op are mostly books other than those displayed in regular bookstores, and I often find myself discovering new things and buying them.

Q:

Our inventory search system is available even when you're not in the store.

I'm grateful that I can view the IMSUT cafeteria menu online..

Q:

I appreciate being able to view the IMSUT cafeteria menu online, but the image quality is so poor I can't read it. Please improve it

A:

Next time, I will try to post images with as many pixels as possible

As the renovation of the Central Cafeteria began, I used the Metro Cafeteria, but..

Q:

With the renovation work on the central cafeteria underway, I used the Metro Cafeteria, but due to poor cell phone reception depending on the carrier, paying with the cafeteria money was difficult.
During busy times, even if I prepare a barcode in advance, there's a risk of it expiring, making it difficult to manage.
I would like to request improvements such as enhanced Wi-Fi in the Metro Cafeteria.

A:

We have begun considering installing event Wi-Fi from a carrier with relatively strong signal strength to help us get through the renovation period, so please wait a little longer

When will the Suzuki Umetaro bowl be available for purchase?

Q:

When will the Suzuki Umetaro Donburi be available for sale?
I've been wanting to try it for five years now, but the timing has never worked out, and I'm dying to eat it! I
usually go to Hongo, so I don't have many opportunities to go to Yayoi. It would be great if you could publish the menu like Hongo Shokudo, so I can go to Yayoi on the day it's available. Please consider it!

A:

Umetaro Donburi is served every Friday, with the next scheduled date being XX/XX (). As it is made with black rice, numbers are limited, so please come early

Imported juices have arrived..

Q:

Please stock imported juices.
I used to really enjoy the passion fruit and mangosteen juices, but they haven't been in stock recently, and it's causing me problems.

A:

This is an imported product, and
depending on the timing of your order, we may not be able to secure the item.

We strive to place orders regularly, but
currently our supplier is out of stock.

We will continue to place orders and check inventory frequently, so
please check the store regularly and wait for the next shipment.

Make it easy to find the toilet location..

Q:

I think it would be better to make the location of the toilets easier to understand, and to post notices to people outside the campus

A:

Thank you for your feedback regarding the restroom signs for external visitors. This week, we have seen an increase in the number of overseas visitors, and we have received many inquiries. We would like to post the restroom signs

Following the earthquake that occurred on the Noto Peninsula..

Q:

In light of the earthquake that struck the Noto Peninsula, I was wondering if we could come up with some kind of plan, such as donating a portion of our sales to disaster relief, or prominently featuring products from Yamazaki Baking, who are sending supplies to the affected area. I
believe many people, including myself, feel a great sense of helplessness, so I wanted to offer even a small amount of support. Thank you for your consideration.

A:

The University of Tokyo Co-op is undertaking a disaster relief fundraising campaign to support victims and affected areas.
The collected donations will be delivered to victims as relief funds through the Japan Consumers' Co-operative Union, and will also be used as support funds for activities to help the affected areas.

This year's sake festival..

Q:

We hope that the sake and wine festivals will be held this year

A:

Regarding your inquiry, we are planning to hold a sake festival at the second cafeteria on Tuesday, February 13th. More details will be posted on our website and on posters in the near future, so please wait a little longer

Is there a plan to release a schedule book with the University of Tokyo logo?

Q:

I would like to know if there are plans to release the schedule book with the Tokyo University mark that was sold every year. It wasn't available at the Hongo branch, and it wasn't even sold at the Komaba Festival, so I asked the store clerk and they said that the release date hasn't been decided yet, but it will be the same as the one at Hongo

A:
