●Repairing computers purchased in the new semester
Please bring the manufacturer's warranty (movable property insurance certificate) to the Komaba Purchasing Department, Hongo Daiichi Purchasing Department, etc. for confirmation.
If the power is on, back up the necessary data and bring it with you so that we can guide you smoothly.

Things to check before sending for repair

Within/outside the warranty period

Please check the warranty period as it varies depending on the product.
When you hand over the product, you will be handed a sticker with a stamp of purchase.

Presence or absence of warranty

If you have a warranty, please bring the warranty and hardware together.
If you do not have the warranty card, you may be charged for repair even within the warranty period.

*For academic support, please bring your support warranty card.

Carry-in repair or on-site repair

The warranty usually states whether it is a "carry-in repair" or "on-site repair".
In the case of products that can be repaired on-site within the warranty period, you can receive on-site repair or collection service by contacting the manufacturer.

*Some products are available for on-site repair even outside the warranty period.

If you bring your own items, please bring them to the store.

Failure symptoms & backup confirmation

We cannot guarantee the data in the personal computer and the HDD that we have entrusted to you.
If the data cannot be erased, we cannot accept repair items. We ask that you back up your important data before sending it in for repair.

In some cases, "the computer does not start up and the data cannot be backed up", but even in this case, repairs cannot be accepted unless you approve the data deletion.
If the data is important and cannot be erased, we recommend a data recovery service.

About accessories

In the case of a main unit failure, you can send it for repair if you bring only the warranty card and the main unit.
No box, manual or power cord needed.
If the power does not turn on, please bring an AC adapter with you.

Service to repair electronic equipment that cannot be repaired by general

Guidance

When a measuring instrument that has been used for a long time breaks down, there are times when the manufacturer's support period has expired and it cannot be repaired.
Even if you buy a new one, in many cases it is part of the overall system or is irreplaceable due to the relationship with the software.
This is a service that you can use at that time.
We will make a new defective board that is difficult to obtain and repair it.
There are some things that cannot be repaired, but the repair completion rate so far is 95%, and there is a high possibility that they can be fixed.
