●For repairs of computers and other devices purchased at the start of the new semester,
please bring your manufacturer's warranty (property insurance certificate) to the Komaba Store, Hongo First Store, or other designated location for verification.
If the device is still powered on, backing up any necessary data beforehand will allow us to assist you more efficiently.

Things to check before sending for repair

Warranty period/outside

Warranty periods vary depending on the product, so please check.
A stamped sticker confirming your purchase will be provided when you receive your product.

Warranty card

If you have a warranty, please bring both the warranty and the hardware.
If you do not have a warranty, repairs may be subject to a charge even if the product is still under warranty.

*Please bring your support guarantee even for academic support

Bring-in repair or on-site repair

The warranty usually specifies whether
the repair service is "carry-in repair" or "on-site repair." If the product is covered by on-site repair within the warranty period, you can contact the manufacturer to arrange for on-site repair or pickup service.

*Some products can be repaired on-site even outside the warranty period

If you have items you would like to bring with you, please bring them to the store

Fault symptoms & backup check

We cannot guarantee the data on your computer or hard drive.
If data cannot be erased, we will not be able to accept your item for repair. Please back up your important data before sending your item in for repair.

There may be cases where your computer won't start and you can't back up your data. Even in this case, we cannot accept your request for repair without your consent to erase your data.
If your data is important and you cannot erase it, we recommend our data recovery service.

About accessories

If the main unit is malfunctioning, you only need to bring the warranty card and the unit itself for repair.
The original packaging, manual, and power cord are not required.
If the unit won't power on, please bring the AC adapter as well.

Repair service for electronic devices that cannot be repaired by the general public

Information

When measuring instruments that have been used for a long time break down, sometimes the manufacturer's support period has ended and they are irreparable.
Even if you buy a new one, it is often not possible to replace it because it is part of an overall system or has software dependencies. This
service is for those situations.
We can manufacture new faulty circuit boards that are difficult to obtain and repair them.
There are some things that cannot be repaired, but our repair completion rate to date is 95%, so there is a high possibility that we can fix it.
