Party information

The co-op cafeteria can be used as a venue for social gatherings and parties.
We also deliver hors d'oeuvres.

1) Application requirements

  • Participation by University of Tokyo personnel (faculty, staff, students) is required. Applications from non-students will not be accepted.
  • Parties involving anti-social forces or people with close ties to anti-social forces will not be accepted.

For reservations and inquiries, please apply using the reservation form.

  • If you would like to use the Central Dining Hall, Ginkgo Metro Dining Hall, or Second Dining Hall in the Hongo area, you will need to submit a request for permission to use the dining hall. Once you apply using the reservation form and confirm the date, download it from the following, fill in the necessary information, and bring it to each cafeteria for stamping.

2) Type of use

At the University of Tokyo Co-op, there are three types of events: "Party (in-store)", "Hor d'oeuvre delivery", and "Hor d'oeuvre takeout".
We are operating.

Party (held at the co-op hall): Basic 2 hour time limit

Standard plan

4,000 yen or more per person (excluding tax)
Both set-up and clean-up will be done by the co-op (partner).

If setup is required, a separate setup fee will be collected (20% of the total amount)

If the amount is less than 1,000 yen (excluding tax) per person, a separate equipment fee will be collected (5% of the total amount)

The communication lounge on the 3rd floor of Komaba Shokudo can only be used by faculty and staff, and a separate lounge usage fee will be charged (paid by the university).

We will deliver hors d'oeuvres (large plates). (On campus only)

3) Cancellation fees and prohibitions

10 days ago 30% of the total budget (excluding tax)
3 days ago 60% of the total budget (excluding tax)
The day before 80% of the total budget (excluding tax)
On the day 100% of the total budget (excluding tax)

Business and services may be suspended due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters such as typhoons and earthquakes, riots, epidemics, and government or university orders. In the event that business or services are suspended due to force majeure, the Co-op will not be responsible for compensation, and applicants will be exempt from cancellation fees regardless of the period up to the event date.   1. If ingredients are not delivered due to a disaster, etc., or if the business determines that the safety of employees cannot be ensured.
  2. If there is an instruction from the government or university that the event cannot be held due to an infectious disease, etc.

Carry-on fees and prohibited matters

Bringing in food is prohibited under the guidance of the public health center, and taking it home is also prohibited.
If you bring in drinks, the charge will be 20% of the number of drinks you bring in x the co-op sales price (excluding tax).

Please dispose of any items brought in (empty bottles, plastic bottles, etc.) by yourself.
