Report and thanks for donations to Türkiye and Syria earthquake emergency relief efforts
In response to the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey in February 2023, the University of Tokyo Co-op set up donation boxes in its stores starting in March 2023 to support those affected.
As a result, a total of 33,271 yen was collected through all University of Tokyo Co-op stores. The donations received will be sent to the Japan UNICEF Association's Emergency Fund for Natural Disasters and will be used for humanitarian assistance focused on water and sanitation, child protection, nutrition and education, to protect affected children and their families.

Donation boxes were set up in stores from March to the end of May 2023.
The total amount of donations collected 33,271yen (total across all University of Tokyo Co-op stores).
