Promotion of active participation by women

The University of Tokyo Consumers' Co-operative Society complies with the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace (Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace) to ensure that all female employees who wish to play an active role We will strive to implement our own efforts to promote women's active participation in the workplace so that we can demonstrate our capabilities.

Regular workers: Seconded employees include employees seconded from the Company to outside the Company, but exclude employees seconded to the Company from other companies.
Non-regular workers: Includes part-time and contract workers, but excludes temporary workers.
For non-regular workers, the average annual wage is calculated based on the number of employees converted by the annual prescribed working hours (1,800 hours) of regular workers.

Balancing work and parenting

Based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, the University of Tokyo Consumers' Co-operative Society aims to create an environment in which children who will lead society in the next generation can be born and raised in good health. We will work to improve the employment environment for all workers and to improve diverse working conditions, including for workers who are not raising children.
