Shipping process from the store

1. Bring the package you want to ship to the Co-op store
2. Fill out the Yamato Transport shipping label
3. Payment can be made by personal, academic, or research funds. An invoice will be issued on the spot

[Notes for in-store shipping]
Refrigerated delivery cannot be brought to Co-op stores. It can only be collected from laboratories.
● Approximate collection times at stores on weekdays are as follows:
Second Purchasing Department: Around 4:00 PM Faculty of Agriculture: Around 3:30 PM
We can accept orders after these times, but they will be shipped the next day. There is no collection on weekends or holidays.

Shipping process from the laboratory

1. Please request collection from Yamato Transport.
   The phone number is 0120-01-9625 (toll-free) or 080-5045-3947 (direct line to the driver).
2. When collecting, please tell the driver "School Fee Slip from Co-op"
3. Please fill out the "Billing Contact Form for Direct Pickup" below along with the TA-Q-BIN shipping slip and hand it over to Yamato Transport
4. The Co-op store will contact you as soon as the school fee slip is ready. Please come to the store to pick up your school fee slip (it may take 2-3 days from the date of shipment). Please present your university ID when you visit the store

[Points to note when shipping from the store]

• Items that can be paid for at the Co-op → Prepaid courier or refrigerated delivery
• Items that cannot be paid for at the Co-op → Cash on delivery, overseas courier service, or courier time service
  (overseas courier service and time service are not available at the Co-op). Please contact us for details.
• If Yamato Transport collects the items from the laboratory, an additional 100 yen per item will be charged as a collection fee
• If you bring the item to a Yamato Transport office, it will not be refunded using school fees

Frequently asked questions

• Q. Can I send a shipping label printed from a computer?
  A. Yes, we can handle shipping labels created using the shipping label issuing service C2 (issuing shipping labels at home)
• Q. Can I pay by invoice for packages shipped from outside the Hongo campus?
  A. Unfortunately, the Co-op cannot do this. With the cooperation of Yamato Transport's Hongo campus office, we can only ship from laboratories on the Hongo campus.
• Q. Can I pay by invoice for a parcel that is due to be shipped cash on delivery?
  A. Unfortunately, the Co-op is unable to do this.

Important points to note when shipping via Yamato Transport

• There is a liability limit set for TA-Q-BIN. Please check the Yamato Transport website
• There are restrictions on shipping PCs. Please contact us for details
• There are some items that cannot be sent by general cargo transport, such as radioactive materials, pathogens, and toxic substances
