CO-OP Student Comprehensive Mutual Aid

We provide coverage for students' injuries and illnesses 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, whether on or off campus, domestically or overseas
It also covers injuries caused by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis. It also covers hospitalization due to mental illness
(Only students and graduate students who are 34 years of age or younger on the effective date of the agreement can join.)

This insurance covers liability for damages caused to others in daily life and during training
(Only student and graduate students who are members of the University of Tokyo Co-op can join.)

This insurance covers liability for damages to others in daily life and during training, as well as damage to rented housing and damage or theft of personal belongings
(Only student and graduate students who are members of the University of Tokyo Co-op can join.)

School Expenses Insurance

Support for tuition fees etc. when a student is no longer supported as a dependent due to the death of a dependent due to illness or injury, or due to a severe permanent disability caused by an injury

How to join

Please complete the procedure at the Co-op office on campus (Komaba: Komaba Office, Hongo: Member Center)
*Only members of the University of Tokyo Co-op, including undergraduate, graduate, and international students, can join
*Only cash is accepted. Please check the amount you need in advance
*If it is difficult for you to visit our branch, please call the Hongo Member Center. We will guide you through the necessary procedures and documents
