CO/OP Student Comprehensive Mutual Aid

We will cover injuries and illnesses of students themselves 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, regardless of whether they are on campus, off campus, in Japan or overseas.
Covers injuries caused by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis. Hospitalization due to mental illness is also covered.
(Only students and graduate students who are 34 years of age or younger on the effective date of the agreement can join.)

Liability insurance for students (no rider for living alone)

This insurance covers liability for damages caused to others in daily life and during training.
(Only students and graduate students of the University of Tokyo Co-op can join.)

Liability insurance for students (special contract for living alone)

This insurance covers liability for damages to others in daily life and during training, as well as damage to rented housing and damage or theft of personal belongings.
(Only students and graduate students of the University of Tokyo Co-op can join.)

School expenses insurance

Support for tuition fees etc. when a student is no longer supported as a dependent due to the death of a dependent due to illness or injury, or due to a severe permanent disability caused by an injury.

How to join

Please apply at the co-op window on campus (Komaba: Komaba Office, Hongo: Membership Center).
* Only students, graduate students, and international students who are members of the University of Tokyo Co-op can join.
*We only accept cash. Please confirm the required amount in advance.
*If it is difficult to come to the store, please call [Hongo: Cooperative Member Center]. We will guide you through the necessary procedures and documents.

Please come to the co-op window on campus (Komaba: Komaba Office, Hongo: Member Center) or contact the Co-op Mutual Aid Center (0120-16-9431).
