[Investment Refund Procedures] For all students graduating in Fall 2026
Congratulations on your graduation.
For those of you leaving the University of Tokyo and who do not plan to use the University of Tokyo Co-op services in the future, we will return the funds you have contributed.
■ Regarding the return of investment funds (withdrawal)
We will refund your investment at the counter
[Return Counters] Reception is only available on weekdays.
(Hongo) Member Center 10:00-17:00
(Yayoi) Faculty of Agriculture Bookstore and Purchasing Department 10:00-17:00
(Komaba) Komaba Co-op Office 10:00-17:00 (11:00-17:00 in August and September)
(Kashiwa) Kashiwa Store Academic Shop 10:00-16:00
(Shirokane) Institute of Medical Science Store Purchasing Department 10:00-18:00
*Please note that it will take 2-3 days if you go to the Institute of Medical Science store.
*All stores will be closed for summer holidays from August 8th (Sat) to August 16th (Sun).

・Membership card
*If you have lost your membership card, please bring something that can verify your identity.
*Paper membership cards will be collected upon return. If you need a temporary membership card, please ask at the counter.
*If you use an electronic membership card, please show the Co-op app. (App membership cards can continue to be used, but will no longer be usable after October.)
・Seal or identification
*If an agent is handling the procedure, please refer to the "If an agent is coming" section on this page for the necessary documents
■ About Co-op Electronic Money Balance
the Terms of Service, refunds for electronic money balances and point balances are generally not possible.Those graduating are requested to use up their remaining balance.If you are unable to use it all, please submit an application using the application form below.
Application period: Until 23:59 on Sunday, October 4, 2026
Refund method: Bank transfer (an email with account registration instructions will be sent within 2-3 business days after application)
Fee: A flat fee of 300 yen will be charged for refunds.
*For those migrating from the old cafeteria pass, the initial premium amount of 300 yen will also be deducted.
*For those enrolled in the Student Mutual Aid program who have registered their expected graduation year as "September 2026," a notice regarding the maturity procedure has been sent from the Co-op Mutual Aid Federation (generally addressed to the dependent's address). Please follow the instructions to return the necessary documents. If you are graduating early (withdrawing from school), please request cancellation
