①Please complete the procedures for withdrawal and return of investment capital

*If you live in Tokyo or Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, and are currently using the University of Tokyo Co-op, you can continue to be a member. If you wish to continue to be enrolled at the University of Tokyo, please refer to the procedures for those who will continue to be enrolled

②CO-OP Student Comprehensive Mutual Aid Insurance: Procedures for maturity
Starting in December 2025, we will be sending out "Guidelines for Maturity Procedures" to the registered addresses of dependents. Please check the documents and then complete the procedures

CO-OP Mutual Aid New Employee Course
The New Employee Course is a course exclusively for graduates who are enrolled in the CO-OP Student Comprehensive Mutual Aid Association. You may be contacted by the CO-OP Mutual Aid Association (and the local consumer cooperatives commissioned by them) to guide you through the procedures for continuing your coverage after graduation (New Employee Course)

③ Please make donations to improve the "Mutual Aid Scholarship Program."
The Mutual Aid Scholarship Program is a scholarship program run by the National Federation of University Co-operative Association Scholarship Foundation, a general incorporated foundation, to help students who have lost their supporters and are finding it difficult to continue their studies

The University of Tokyo Alumni Association, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Tokyo, is an organization made up of current students and alumni of the University of Tokyo. For information on the Alumni Association and for graduates and students who have completed their studies, please visithereplease look at.

A. Return of investment by bank transfer

①Please apply for withdrawal using the form below
 Application period: February 1, 2026 (Sunday) - May 6, 2026 (Holiday)
 *Please enter the member's name and date of birth
②If you have a paper membership card, please return it in the return envelope
 *Those who have completed the capital investment refund procedure will no longer be able to use the University Co-op app from April onwards

Please use up your university co-op electronic money by the end of March
③We will send you an email with instructions on how to specify the transfer destination
・Those who apply by Tuesday, March 31, 2026
→We will send you an email with instructions on how to proceed in mid-May 2026
・Those who apply by May 6, 2026 (national holiday)
→We will send you an email with instructions on how to proceed in late May 2026
④ After specifying the transfer destination, the funds will be transferred to the specified account within 3 to 4 business days

[Things to bring]
・Union membership card
 *If you have lost your membership card, please bring something that can verify your identity
 *If you have a paper membership card, we will collect it when you return it. If you wish, we will provide you with a temporary membership card that is valid until the end of March, so please let us know
 *If you are using an electronic membership card, please present the Co-op app. (App membership cards can continue to be used, but will no longer be available after April.)
・Seal
・If you are making a donation, please fill out the "Donation and Withdrawal Application Form"
 *Normal withdrawal application forms are available at the counter

We will not be accepting reservations prior to the dates A and B above

Those who continue to be enrolled at the University of Tokyo

① The following people will not go through the capital investment return procedure:End of March 2026Please complete the "Change of Affiliation/Expected Graduation Year Form" to change your membership information by the deadline
・Those who will be going on to graduate school at the University of Tokyo
・Those whose planned graduation year will change
・Those who will become teachers
・Those who are graduating and wish to continue using the University of Tokyo Co-op (limited to those living in Tokyo or Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture)

*Membership cards will not be rewritten or reissued
Please complete the procedure to transfer to an electronic membership card using the "University Co-op App (Official)."
*If you would like a paper membership card due to terminal issues, please come to the co-op counter

If you are enrolled in the Student Comprehensive Mutual Aid Insurance, you will receive information from the Japan Co-op Mutual Aid Consumer Cooperative (Co-op Mutual Aid Association) for those who are approaching their graduation year. If you plan to continue your insurance, please complete the procedures as soon as possible
