Guidance on Student Comprehensive Mutual Aid Security against Novel Coronavirus Infectious Diseases

With the spread of the new coronavirus infection, I understand that some members (students and graduate students) are worried about being infected.

Under the “Student Comprehensive Mutual Aid” that students of the University of Tokyo Co-op can join, if you are infected with the new coronavirus infection, you will be eligible for benefits even on the day you go to the hospital, stay at a hotel, or stay at home.

(In the future, if the position under the Infectious Diseases Act is reviewed, the handling may change.)

If you are not enrolled in Student Comprehensive Mutual Aid at the time of infection, you will not be able to receive benefits.
You can check your enrollment status and enroll at the co-op window, so please contact us when you have time.
If you are not yet a member, please take this opportunity to join.
