Apology and Report Regarding Halal-Recommended Menu Items
Thank you for your continued patronage of the University of Tokyo Co-op
We have recently discovered that some of the beef used in some of the "Halal Recommended Menus" that we offered at the request of the University Co-op Business Federation did not meet the ingredient standards for Halal-recommended dishes set by the University Co-op. Confirmation with the ingredient manufacturer has confirmed that the beef in question is not a Halal-certified ingredient
We deeply apologize to everyone who made meal choices based on their religious beliefs for failing to provide accurate information and for damaging trust in the university cooperative
