Dialogue Event: How Japanese History Has Been Narrated at the University of Tokyo
We will be hosting a talk event featuring Yuri Kono, author of "How Japanese History Has Been Narrated," which was published in May and topped the humanities rankings at the Hongo Bookstore. She will be in
dialogue with Hiroyuki Ohara, author of "The Intellectual History of 'Anti-University of Tokyo' Sentiments," which also topped the rankings in 2024. The
event will reveal must-hear anecdotes about the history and ideas that have been told, centered around the University of Tokyo.
