This project was sponsored by MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) and implemented as a way to support the studies and reading of University of Tokyo students
The MUFG-sponsored fair supporting University of Tokyo students' studies and reading, held from July 6th to 10th, 2026, concluded successfully
During the above period (5 weekdays), 2,423 people used the fair, and 6,527 books were purchased. Thank you to everyone who participated
To raise awareness of MUFG's efforts to address social issues, we have displayed posters in our stores and requested your cooperation in completing a survey via a QR code on handouts (fans). The survey is open until July 17th. It's a simple survey that only takes about 5 minutes, so please take a look if you haven't already.

The X announcement post for this fair recorded approximately 83,000 impressions since its announcement began at 7 PM on June 26th, indicating the high level of anticipation. Many people also discovered the fair while visiting the store during the fair period, and we observed an increase in users through word of mouth
This was our first corporate-sponsored fair in the bookstore, and the response exceeded our expectations. As long as the enthusiasm of University of Tokyo students for studying and reading remains strong, we will consider holding more fairs in the future. We look forward to your continued patronage of the bookstore
