[New] Meal coupon information

■What is a meal coupon?

This is a meal-only "coupon booklet" that can be used by paying in advance.
It's a system designed to allow even busy upperclassmen to eat properly every day without worrying about the cost. You can choose from three plans to suit your lifestyle. It can be used at either the Komaba Campus or the Hongo Campus.

①Meal coupon A700

This plan costs 700 yen per day for 100 days.
You can use it for 64,400 yen (70,000 yen value, discounted by 8%).
Recommended for those who don't attend school very often.

② Meal coupon B700

This plan costs 700 yen per day for 150 days.
You can use it for 96,600 yen, which is an 8% discount from the original 105,000 yen value.
It offers more usage days than the A700 plan.

③Meal coupon B1000

This plan costs 1,000 yen per day for 150 days.
You can use it for 138,000 yen, which is an 8% discount from the original 150,000 yen.
This plan is recommended for those who use the cafeteria or shop twice a day (lunch and dinner) or for those who find 700 yen insufficient.

■Features of meal coupons

◎Can be used every day as long as the cafeteria and shop are open.
◎Can be used multiple times a day up to the limit set by your plan (700 yen or 1,000 yen).

■About the Balance Allocation System

While the basic rule is that the meal tickets are for single use, to reassure those who were unable to use them all due to school matters or attendance issues, the unused amount (meal balance) can be applied to meal purchases in the following year (※Application for continuation into the 2027 academic year is required). A fee of 2,200 yen will be charged if the balance is 2,200 yen or more.

■About meal balance refunds

If you do not renew your meal plan, you will receive a refund. Even if you do not renew your meal plan, any unused balance will be refunded to your Co-op electronic money account, and if you leave the university, the refund will be made by bank transfer. If the balance is 2,200 yen or more, a fee of 2,200 yen will be charged. If you make a bank transfer, a separate bank transfer fee will be charged

■How to apply

Season tickets will be on sale until April 23, 2026 (Thursday).
Multi-ride tickets will be on sale until May 15, 2026 (Friday).
(Added on April 6: Those with carryover funds from fiscal year 2025 have received refunds in base money. Those planning to continue with meal plans will also need to apply as new customers.)

① Select your plan and enter the required information via "Apply Here".
② We will send you payment instructions to the email address you registered at a later date.
③ Your payment will be reflected in the Co-op app 3-5 business days after payment is received.

Faculty and staff are also welcome to apply.
You can also apply for the traditional season pass-type meal pass.

Please allow 3-5 business days from the payment date for the changes to be reflected in the Co-op app.
The multi-use tickets will be available from April 1st, and the season passes from April 6th, so please apply as soon as possible.

*Starting in fiscal year 2026, points will no longer be awarded when using meals
