for
the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
The University of Tokyo Co-op launched a fundraising campaign in January 2024, placing donation boxes in its stores to support those affected by the large-scale earthquake that struck off the coast of the Noto Peninsula on January 1, 2024.
As a result, a total of 92,285 yen was collected through all University of Tokyo Co-op stores. The donations received will be sent to the Japan Consumers' Co-operative Union's "2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund," and will be distributed as relief funds (directly distributed to those affected) and support funds (for expenses related to support activities in the affected areas) to municipalities that suffered the most damage and organizations that are conducting disaster relief activities.
Thank you for your cooperation in this emergency fundraising campaign.
