For those participating in internships (Co-op's recommended insurance system)
When participating in an internship,
: A) Insurance to cover situations where something happens to you, and
B) Insurance to cover situations where you cause trouble to your internship employer
you are required to have two types of
- If you joined the university cooperative's "Student Comprehensive Mutual Aid" upon enrollment, you
meet condition A above. If you joined "Student Liability Insurance," you meet condition B above.
- The "Membership Confirmation Certificate" that can be submitted to your internship company will be issued at the following counter.
Please bring your "Insured Person Number" or membership card if possible.
- You can also check your own membership status at the counter.

B: Student Liability Insurance (Protection in case you cause trouble at your internship site)
How to join
Please complete the procedure at the university cooperative office on campus (Komaba: Komaba Office; Hongo: Member Center).
*Only students, graduate students, and international students who are members of the University of Tokyo Cooperative are eligible to join.
*Only cash payments are accepted. Please check the required amount in advance.
