The University of Tokyo Co-op was founded in 1946 by students, faculty and staff of the University of Tokyo
The University of Tokyo Co-op supports the lives of its members through services such as shopping, books, cafeterias, travel, and housing on each of the University of Tokyo's campuses
To use the University of Tokyo Co-op, you will need to join the co-op
Joining a co-op and becoming a member offers many benefits
Joining a co-op requires a capital contribution
The University of Tokyo Co-op is asking for your contribution of 24,000 yen (400 yen per share) to fund 60 shares
This will be used as funds to operate the co-op business (purchasing goods, equipment, etc.)
Upon graduation or completion of your studies at the University of Tokyo, the scholarship will be returned in accordance with the provisions of the Articles of Incorporation
Please remember to complete the withdrawal procedure at the campus office before leaving the University of Tokyo
