Notice to Co-op Committee Members for 2025

Co-op committee members, please read this page in its entirety and proceed with the various procedures that follow

 Additionally, this year's Co-op committee registration was completed using the email addresses submitted by senior students, so there is no need for additional registration. The email addresses submitted will be used to contact you and to send you information from the Co-op

1. What all Co-op Committee members should do


When to assign roles: As soon as you are selected!
 The two Co-op Committee members selected from each class should divide the following roles amongst themselves.

  1. Candidate for Representative (see below) (1 person)
  2. One person will be in charge of conveying information from the University of Tokyo Co-op to each class

Period: Please complete this during April.
 You will learn online about "What is a Co-op?" and "What is a Co-op Committee Member?".

2. What each role of the Co-op committee members will do


 We will send an invitation to the Co-op Committee members who are candidates for representative to become a "representative." We would appreciate it if you would run for representative according to that invitation.

② Person in charge of relaying information from the Co-op to the class:
 The Co-op may ask you to relay information from the Co-op to student members through the Co-op committee. This information will be sent via email. When this happens, please be sure to inform everyone in your class.

3. Additional information regarding representatives

① Regarding the date of the General Meeting:
 This year's General Meeting is scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday, May 31st.

② Regarding candidacy for representative:
 We are soliciting candidates for representative from among the representative candidates. Recruitment will be conducted via email, etc. The method of candidacy is described in ④. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, April 16th, at 17:00.the representative election announcementand proceed with the candidacy procedure.

③ Regarding candidacy for student representative by non-cooperative committee members:
 Non-cooperative committee members can also run for student representative. For example, if someone in your class wants to run, or if you want to serve as student representative together with a friend, please submit a candidacy form as in ②. The deadline for submission in this case is also April 16th (Wednesday) at 17:00.
