Party Information
The Co-op cafeteria can be used as a venue for social gatherings and parties
They also offer hors d'oeuvres delivery
1) Application requirements
- Participation by University of Tokyo affiliates (faculty, staff, and students) is required. Applications from outside the university alone will not be accepted
- We cannot accept parties attended by anti-social forces or those with close ties to anti-social forces
For reservations and inquiries, please use the reservation form
- If you wish to use the Central Dining Hall, Ginkgo Metro, or Second Dining Hall in the Hongo area outside of business hours, you must submit the "Dinner Hall Use Permission Request" below.
- Once you have filled out the reservation form and your reservation is confirmed, please download it from the link below, fill in the necessary information, and bring it to each restaurant.
2) Type of use
The University of Tokyo Co-op offers three types of events: "Party (held in store)," "Hors d'oeuvre delivery," and "Hors d'oeuvre takeout."

Party (held at the Co-op Hall): 2 hours in principle
Standard Plan
4,000 yen or more per person (excluding tax)
Both setup and cleanup will be handled by the Co-op (affiliated company)

Weekdays: 150,000 yen (excluding tax), Saturdays: 150,000 yen (excluding tax), Sundays: 200,000 yen (excluding tax)
Casual Plan
[Minimum total amount]
Weekdays: 60,000 yen (excluding tax), Saturdays: 150,000 yen (excluding tax), Sundays: 200,000 yen (excluding tax)
If setup is required, a setup fee will be charged (20% of the total amount)
If the total amount is less than 1,000 yen (excluding tax) per person, a separate equipment fee will be charged (5% of the total amount)

The Komaba Cafeteria 3rd floor lounge is available for use by faculty and staff only, and a separate lounge usage fee will be charged (paid to the university)

Hors d'oeuvres (large platter dishes) are delivered (only within campus)

A delivery fee of 5% of the total amount (food and beverages) (excluding tax) will be charged
*Depending on staffing, there may be times when we are unable to accommodate
[Orders can be placed at] Hongo Second Cafeteria, Faculty of Agriculture Cafeteria, Komaba Cafeteria
[Delivery hours] Until 6:00 PM on store business days (weekdays)
* 1 plate of hors d'oeuvres (serves 5) comes with 5 plates and chopsticks for each order
Takeout
Please come to the store and we will give you hors d'oeuvres at the store
[Minimum order amount] 5,000 yen (excluding tax)
[Orders can be placed at] Hongo Second Cafeteria, Faculty of Agriculture Cafeteria, Komaba Cafeteria
[Delivery time] During store business hours (weekdays)
* 1 plate of hors d'oeuvres (serves 5) comes with 5 plates and chopsticks for each order
*The take-out and delivery menus are the same
3) Cancellation fees and prohibited actions

Business operations and services may be suspended due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters such as typhoons and earthquakes, riots, epidemics, orders from the government or university, etc. If business operations and services are suspended due to force majeure, the Co-op will not be liable for compensation, and cancellation fees will be waived for applicants regardless of the time up to the event date. <Example of suspension>
- If food delivery is not possible due to a disaster or if the business operator determines that the safety of employees cannot be ensured
- If the government or university issues an instruction that the event cannot be held due to an infectious disease or other reason
Carry-on fees and prohibited items
Bringing food into the venue and taking it home is prohibited as instructed by the public health center
Bringing in beverages is subject to the following: quantity brought in (number of bottles) x 20% of the co-op retail price (excluding tax)
Please dispose of any drinks you bring in (empty bottles, plastic bottles, etc.) yourself
