<Notice for those planning to enroll in 2026>
●The textbook for the required English course for all departments, "University of Tokyo English Reading: Reading the Diversifying World in English," will be the latest edition (4th edition in 2026), which is reprinted every March. The 4th edition will be available at the special textbook sales counter. Please note that we cannot accommodate older editions or used items purchased at other stores.
●Co-op discounts are applicable regardless of payment method, but we recommend using Co-op Base Money for faster and more convenient payment. In 2025, approximately 55% of payments at the special textbook sales counter were made using Co-op Base Money. ●
Plastic bags will be provided free of charge at the textbook sales counter. Please let us know at checkout if you do not need one. *Plastic bags are generally charged at other stores, including the 1F Bookstore.

<Regarding the operation of the special textbook sales booth>
A special sales booth will be set up on
the 2nd floor of the North Building of the Communication Plaza on the Komaba Campus ↑Click or tap to display the map.

During the following business period, textbooks will not be stocked in the 1st floor bookstore. Please purchase them at the special sales area. For business hours and available products, please see the respective sections

● Notes and requests regarding payment
1. Please present your membership card (University Co-op app) when paying. You will receive a 10% discount regardless of the payment method.
2. We recommend using Co-op Base Money as it is fast and convenient.
3. Co-op Base Money, cash, and book card can be used together in the same transaction. Other payment methods cannot be used together.

Textbooks will be available in the textbook corner of each faculty and graduate school as shown in the map below

If you present your membership card at the time of payment, you can purchase books at a 10% discount

Hongo Book Department does not offer mail order sales

Textbooks and reference books for courses offered at the Hongo Campus that have been contacted by the Co-op

If requested by the teacher, additions or changes may be made at any time even after sales begin

*There is a possibility that the item cannot be found in-store or through the University of Tokyo Co-op inventory search and ordering system

• Products that cannot be ordered because the publisher does not have stock or they are out of print
• Products not specified by the teacher
