Overview of the University of Tokyo Co-op Student Committee's "Used Book Market"

This is a joint project run by the Komaba Student Committee (C University) and Hongo Student Committee (H University) at
the University of Tokyo's school festivals, "Satsukisai" (May) and "Komaba Festival" collect used books from students and faculty in advance and sell them at the festival.
This has been going on for over 40 years and has become one of the festival's signature events, attracting many visitors every year.
70% of the sales amount refunded to the seller is donated
to a charity (in this case, the National University Co-op Federation Scholarship Foundation) to freely set the selling price has also been well received.

For both the May Festival and the Komaba Festival, about one month before the event, so if you would like to submit a book, please check the notices from the Student Committee at that time and apply by following the procedures outlined.

Response to the spread of COVID-19

In 2020, due to the spread of COVID-19, the University of Tokyo's school festival was held entirely online, and the used book fair was canceled

"CKiEx" published by the University of Tokyo Co-op Student Committee was held.
