The University of Tokyo Co-op 80th Anniversary and University of Tokyo Press 75th Anniversary Event Vol.1 will be held
[2026 New Year's Dialogue] ~Let's talk about the future of academia and universities～
In 2026, the University of Tokyo Co-op will celebrate its 80th anniversary. Similarly, the University of Tokyo Press
will celebrate its 75th anniversary. To commemorate this memorial year,
we will be holding a dialogue between UTokyo Co-op Chairman Arifumi Genda and University of Tokyo Press Chairman Takahiro Nakajima.
In today's world, where division and conflict are spiraling, where are academia and universities headed? These
leading intellectuals in the humanities and social sciences will introduce their recommended books that offer clues to understanding the world
, and engage in a lively discussion.
