Komaba Original Bowl 2024 Grand Prix decided!
In May 2024, we solicited original recipes through the Komaba Purchasing Department, Komaba Shokudo, and SNS, and received 19 applications! Thank you to everyone who applied!

At the original bento tasting event held on June 5th, five menu items were discussed and selected by the purchasing department and cafeteria department. Based on the submitted ideas, text, illustrations, and photos, the bento style that can be manufactured at the cafeteria was actually reproduced for the first time!
Final candidate bowl
Muscle muscle bowl
A low-calorie, high-protein chicken breast dish topped with broccoli and boiled eggs that your muscles will love.
Komajiro bowl
A bowl inspired by a certain type of ramen, topped with plenty of garlic gyoza, cabbage, and chashu pork.
Komaba campus bowl
Sweet and spicy stir-fried pork = Building 1, eggs = ginkgo biloba, and spinach with sesame dressing = a bowl inspired by the trees of the Komaba campus.
It whets the appetite! Komabadon with corn mayo and basil
A richly colored rice bowl made with ``ko''n, ``ma'' yonnaise, and ``ba'' jiru, or komaba for short.
Croquette mapo yakisoba bowl
This bowl is also full of volume and impact, using ``ko'' roquette, ``ma'' bo, and yakiso ``ba'' komaba.
After hearing from the creators of the five finalist menus about their thoughts on the bowls and the cafeteria staff who created the recipes, the tasting time began immediately.
The grand prize is “Mukimuki Muscle Don”!
Voting was held after the tasting time, and in a fierce battle in which no one could predict the outcome, the "Mukimuki Muscle Bowl" invented by PN: Kakapo was chosen as the Grand Prix for Original Bento in 2024!
