Report and thanks for donations to Türkiye and Syria earthquake emergency relief efforts
To support those affected by the major earthquake that occurred in Turkey in February 2023, the University of Tokyo Co-op began collecting donations in March 2023 by setting up donation boxes in its stores.
As a result, a total of 33,271 yen was raised through all University of Tokyo Co-op stores. Donations received from you all will be sent to the Japan Committee for UNICEF's Natural Disaster Emergency Fund, which will be used for humanitarian assistance focusing on water and sanitation, child protection, nutrition, education, and other areas to protect affected children and their families.

The total amount of donations collected during the in-store donation box setup period from March to the end of May 2023 was 33,271 yen (total for all UTokyo Co-op stores).
