Report and thanks for donations to Türkiye and Syria earthquake emergency relief efforts
In order to support those affected by the major earthquake that occurred in Turkey in February 2023, the University of Tokyo Co-op began collecting donations by setting up donation boxes in its stores in March 2023
As a result, a total of 33,271 yen was raised through all UTokyo Co-op stores. The donations received will be sent to the Japan Committee for UNICEF's Natural Disaster Emergency Fund, and will be used for humanitarian assistance focusing on water and sanitation, child protection, nutrition, education, etc. to protect affected children and their families
