What is Peace Now!?
Peace Now! is an experiential program aimed at members of member co-ops of the National Federation of University Co-operative Associations, encouraging them to think about peace
The event will be held in three regions: Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the only two cities in the world to have been hit by atomic bombs, and Okinawa, the only place in Japan where a ground battle involving civilians took place
On the day, participants will listen to testimonies from atomic bomb survivors and war veterans to relive the events of those days, visit war memorials that remain to this day, and exchange their thoughts with other participants to deepen their understanding of peace
(Quoted from the [25PN!] pamphlet)
