Notice to Co-op Committee Members for 2025

Co-op committee members, please read this page in its entirety and proceed with the various procedures that follow

 Additionally, this year's Co-op committee registration was completed using the email addresses submitted by senior students, so there is no need for additional registration. The email addresses submitted will be used to contact you and to send you information from the Co-op

1. What all Co-op Committee members should do

① Division of roles
When: As soon as you are selected!
 Two Co-op committee members will be elected from each class and will share the following roles

  1. Candidate for Representative (see below) (1 person)
  2. One person will be in charge of conveying information from the University of Tokyo Co-op to each class

② Online learning
When: Please complete this by the end of April
 You will learn online about "What is a consumer co-op?" and "What is a consumer co-op committee member?"
 HerePlease download the study materials from here and proceed with your studies. Once you have completed your studies, we have prepared a short quiz to check your understanding, so please make use of itHereYou can take the exam from

2. What each role of the Co-op committee members will do

① Candidates for representative
 We will provide information on the "representative" position to all Co-op committee members. Please follow the instructions and apply for the position

②The person in charge of conveying information from the Co-op to the class
 The Co-op may ask you to contact member students through the Co-op Committee. This will be done via email. In such cases, please be sure to inform your class

3. Additional information regarding representatives

① Regarding the date of the general meeting
 This year's general meeting is scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday, May 31st

② Candidates for Representative
 We are looking for candidates to run as representatives from among the representative candidates. Applications will be accepted via email, etc. The method for applying is described in ④. The deadline for submission is 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 16thAnnouncement of the representative electionPlease check the above and then apply for candidacy

③ Candidates for representatives other than Co-op committee members
 Anyone can run for representative, even if they are not a Co-op committee member. For example, if there is someone in your class who wants to run, or if you want to serve as representative together with a friend, please submit the same application form as in ②. In this case, the deadline for submission is also 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 16th
