For those participating in internships (Co-op's recommended insurance system)

When participating in an internship, you are required to have two types of insurance : A) Insurance to cover situations where something happens to you, and B) Insurance to cover situations where you cause trouble to your internship employer

- If you joined the university cooperative's "Student Comprehensive Mutual Aid" upon enrollment, you
meet condition A above. If you joined "Student Liability Insurance," you meet condition B above.
- The "Membership Confirmation Certificate" that can be submitted to your internship company will be issued at the following counter.
Please bring your "Insured Person Number" or membership card if possible.
- You can also check your own membership status at the counter.

How to join

Please complete the procedure at the university cooperative office on campus (Komaba: Komaba Office; Hongo: Member Center).
*Only students, graduate students, and international students who are members of the University of Tokyo Cooperative are eligible to join.
*Only cash payments are accepted. Please check the required amount in advance.
